Seeing as it is Sunday, I thought I would post a variety of religion-related things from Bones. I mean, ya gotta love Bones and Booth whenever they're bantering over religion!
So if you're feeling religious today(or even if you're not), here are some good episodes for you to watch:
1. The Man in the Morgue (1x19)
In this episode, Bones is identifying remains in New Orleans when she suddenly wakes up bloodied and beaten inside in her hotel room. She has no recollection of the day before, which leads her and Booth on a venture through voodoo to find her assailant and the murderer.
2. The Priest in the Churchyard (2x17)
In this episode, Bones is called to identify some remains that have surfaced in a graveyard due to a burst water main. In the process, they discover the remains of a man that were not recorded as being buried. It turns out that he was once a priest at the church who had gone missing about a year ago! Bones and Booth have to investigate a lot of people in the church in order to find his killer.
3. The Knight on the Grid
In this episode, Bones and Booth are called to identify some remains that were found. They soon find that the man is a priest, and is the second victim of Gorgamon, the cannibalistic serial killer. Its a race against time for Bones and Booth to attempt to find Gorgamon before he kills another innocent person.
4. The He in the She (4x07)
In this episode, Bones and Booth are called to identify the remains of a supposed woman. Her torso is all that is left of "her". When she is brought back to the lab, it is discovered that she was once a he- a he that was a big time tv priest. It is discovered that he got a sex change and then began leading a small inclusion church. Bones and Booth interrogate all of the members of the church in order to find her/his murderer.
5. The Plain in the Prodigy (5x03)
In this episode, Bones and Booth are called to investigate the murder of an Amish young adult who went out into the world and never returned. Bones and Booth find out that he was an amazing pianist, but he had to keep it from his community because music is not allowed in the Amish religion/culture. Bones and Booth investigate everyone, including his close friends, to bring justice to this closet prodigy.
6. The Devil in the Details (5x14)
In this episode, Bones and Booth are called to investigate the murder of a man who literally looks like the devil. He had surgically implanted horns, and his body was burning on the alter of the church. Booth is freaked out, Bones is intrigued, and they both have to investigate and question Devil-boy's family in order to find his murderer.
7. The Witch in the Wardrobe (5x20)
In this episode, Bones and Booth are called to investigate what seems like a double murder of witches, one modern, and one from the Salem witch trials. It is discovered that the modern witch was a Wiccan who practiced dark magic. Meanwhile, Angela and Hodgins get arrested, and have to help solve the case from jail. Bones and Booth delve into the world of Wiccans to determine her murderer.
8. The Sin in the Sisterhood (6x12)
In this episode, Bones and Booth are called to investigate the murder of a man who was found in a cornfield. After some investigation, it is discovered that the man was a polygamist with three wives and tons of children. They discover some resentment and jealousy among the wives, who just so happen to be sisters as well as sister wives. Booth and Bones interrogate all of the members of the family, and in a strange twist, a murderer is found.
I hope that everyone has a happy and Bones-filled Sunday!
